Hofstra’s location in Hempstead Long Island isn’t perhaps the most scenic spot on earth, but the it offers a good education for lots of kids on the region. The school likes to promote it’s proximity to New York City as a major benefit. Hofstra offers more than 150 undergraduate programs and over 160 graduate degrees.
